Waffie & Milkie was built on a simple belief: the best food doesn't need a fancy presentation — it needs real ingredients, a steady hand, and enough time to do what it's supposed to do. Our waffles are mixed fresh each morning, our pastries come out of the oven before the lunch rush, and our grocery shelves carry the same products we'd keep in our own kitchen.

Our Story

Two names, one kitchen,and a lot of patience.

Waffie & Milkie started with a simple question: what would a bakery look like if it were run by people who actually bake at home? Not for show — for the people who show up at your door with a loaf of bread and no expectation of thanks.

We opened our doors in Long Beach with two things in mind: waffles done properly, and a grocery section that carries the same thoughtfulness you'd find on your own pantry shelf. Everything we sell is something we'd eat, cook with, or keep in our own kitchen. If it doesn't pass that test, it doesn't make it onto our shelves.

It's a neighborhood spot. We know our regulars by name, we remember how you take your coffee, and we're always happy to recommend something you haven't tried yet.
